Our Story
Rooted in a Love of Gardening
Established in 2006, The Potting Shed has become a familiar part of Dorchester's independent shopping scene, welcoming gardeners, wildlife enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys making the most of their outdoor space.
We believe that gardening should be enjoyable, rewarding and accessible to everyone. Whether you have a flourishing country garden, a small courtyard, a balcony filled with pots or simply a bird feeder outside your window, there's always room for a little more nature.
Our shop brings together a thoughtfully selected range of practical gardening products, plants, seeds, wildlife essentials, garden ornaments and thoughtful gifts. We focus on offering good-quality products, friendly service and the kind of personal shopping experience that makes independent stores special.
